The big plan for The Bays Precinct

A recent commitment to introducing urban and regional planning studies into the early high school curriculum demonstrates the need to present planning concepts to students.

This package introduces the idea of urban transformation and changing communities to a younger age group. The big plan for The Bays Precinct, Sydney uses story telling, characters and illustrated maps to explain the potential future change in the area.

The big plan teachers’ notes

To facilitate discussion and highlight particular areas of the document, a set of teachers’ notes has been developed. This has been divided into guided learning for early and later primary stages and provides suggested questions, prompts and activities.
